Founder and Project Manager of FibCo South Africa (Pty) Ltd, founded in 2018 specializing in Overhead and Underground Fibre Optic Cable and Accessory Solutions and recently added construction services to the FibCo portfolio. FibCo South Africa (Pty) Ltd is also proud to be an Agent for AFL Telecommunications Europe and AFL Telecommunications GmbH.

AFL Telecommunications is an international leader in the manufacturing of several fibre optic cable types and accessories including but not limited to OPGW, ADSS, DUCT, Skywrap.

Yolandi is an Executive Director in a number of firms and is a member of the Institute of Directors South Africa (IODSA) and  South African Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (SAIOHS) and sits on 5 Boards, with company portfolios ranging between highly successful engineering, training and construction consulting firms. Yolandi also sit on the Association of Municipal Electricity Distributors (AMEU) Affiliates and Women in Electricity committees.

Yolandi studied B-tech Mechanical Engineering through TUT and has been in the construction field for the past 19 years with vast experience in multiple aspects of contract and project management and on-site construction execution. This includes the full spectrum of related activities from the bidding process to the handover of the product to the end user. Yolandi is in the process to obtain her qualification as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through PMI in the United States.  In addition, she applied for membership with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP). Her expertise lies mainly in providing fibre optic solutions for the high voltage overhead powerline construction industry. She is passionate about Health, Safety and Quality systems that are in line with OHSAS 45001, ISO9001 and ISO14001, and is a certified internal auditor of these systems and involved with the development and implementation of these systems for consulting engineering and construction firms.

Yolandi is passionate about continuous development and finding practical solutions.  Her commitment and enthusiasm are evident in the projects she manages as well as her on-going efforts to train and mentor people about construction. She is currently a mentor for an established NPO foundation programme that focuses on Women in Business and recently had the opportunity to present training for a government institution programme that was hosted in the Mpumalanga Province for Women in Construction.
